DropShip Commerce Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how DS Co. (“DropShip”) collects information from users of this site, how DropShip Commerce uses that information, and what choices users have on the collection, correction and use of such information. When this Privacy Policy refers to DropShip Commerce, we, or us, it includes DropShip Commerce and its affiliates. By visiting this site, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Personal Information

You can visit and enjoy our site without disclosing any personal information about yourself. However, to provide services you request from DropShip Commerce or respond to questions you may have about our services, we will need you to share with us certain personal information about yourself. The personal information we may collect may include your name, telephone number, postal address, e-mail address or other personally identifiable information.

Our policy is to maintain the privacy of personal information and not to use or disclose it except as provided in this Privacy Policy. For example, you may use this site to send us your questions or comments. When you send us a question by e-mail, we will use your return e-mail address to respond to your question. We will not use your return e-mail address for purposes other than as described in the following paragraph, and we will not share your return e-mail address with others except as provided in this Privacy Policy.

Users who provide us with postal addresses may receive periodic mailings from us about items that may be of interest to them. Users who provide us with e-mail addresses may receive regular e-mail messages from us providing information about topics that may be of interest to them. Users who provide us with telephone numbers may be contacted by us about items that may be of interest to them. If you do not wish to receive such mailings, e-mail messages or phone contacts, please contact us (See How To Contact Us).

While our policy is not to disclose personal information to outside parties, we may disclose such information if we have your permission beforehand or if there are special circumstances, such as when we believe that disclosure is required by law (See Special Circumstances). Additionally, if you post personal information in online bulletin boards, chat rooms, news groups or other public forums hosted through, or otherwise linked to, this site, that personal information may be displayed publicly.

Anonymous Information

The anonymous information that we collect through this site may include the type of web browser you use, the name of the domain from which you accessed the Internet, the Internet address of the site from which you accessed this site, the pages and areas that you have visited on this site, the date and time you accessed this site, and other information that is not personally identifiable.

We use anonymous information collected through this site primarily to improve the content and usefulness of this site and to customize the content or layout of this site for individual users. We may also use anonymous information to improve our marketing efforts.

Product Ordering

If you order services from us using this site, we will use the personal information you provide to process, fill and obtain payment for the order. We may also use the information to provide you with product updates and other product-related information. We do not share your personal information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete and process the payment for such order or as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy.

DropShip Commerce uses a third-party provider to handle credit card processing. The service provider is not permitted to store, retain, or use billing information except for the sole purpose of credit card processing on DropShip Commerce’s behalf.

Online Advertisements

This site may display online advertisements, and we may share with advertisers the aggregated (collective) anonymous information we collect through this site. In some instances, we may use such information to deliver tailored advertisements. For example, if an advertiser describes to us an audience it wants to reach and provides us with an advertisement tailored to that audience, we may display the advertisement to the intended audience based upon the aggregated, anonymous information we have collected. We do not share personal information with advertisers.

Voluntary Surveys

We may periodically conduct user surveys. We encourage our users to participate in these surveys because they provide us with important information that helps us to improve the types of products and services we offer and how we provide them. The personal information you provide in response to a voluntary survey will remain confidential, even if the survey is conducted by a third party that we hire. Participation in any of our user surveys is voluntary.

We take the information we receive from individuals responding to user surveys and aggregate (combine) it with the responses of other DropShip Commerce customers to create broader, generic responses to the survey questions (such as gender, age, residence, education, employment, industry sector, or other demographic information). We then use the aggregated information to improve the quality of our products and services, and to develop new products and services. This aggregated, anonymous information may be shared with third parties.

Our site may contain links to other sites, including distributor sites. Please note that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of these sites. We encourage you to be aware of this when your leave our site and to read the privacy policies of every site that collects personally identifiable information from you. This Privacy Policy applies only to this site

Special Circumstances

It is our policy not to use or share personal information about use in ways unrelated to the ones described above, without providing users an opportunity to opt out or otherwise decline such unrelated uses. We may disclose such personal information, however, if we believe, in our sole discretion, that it is reasonable to do so under the circumstances. Our reasons for disclosure of personal information may include, for example, to satisfy our obligations under applicable laws or regulations; to respond to governmental or legal requests for information; to disclose information that is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be violating our Terms of Use or other user policies; or otherwise to protect DropShip Commerce and its customers.
